There’s a prevailing myth in the real estate industry that a townhouse inspection is far easier than a single-family home, takes less time, and uncovers fewer defects.Why? Because townhouses are usually just as much work to inspect as a single family home, and they have all the same problems. We conduct townhouse inspections in the same manner as single family homes.
A home inspection is an opportunity for you to hire an expert to walk through the home and prepare a report that outlines the home’s major components, their current condition, what needs immediate attention and what will require maintenance after you move in.
Our inspector will come out to your property and do a visual inspection from top to bottom and inside and out of the home and assess the areas listed below:
- Electrical panel, light switches, and power outlets
- Thermostats and heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC) system
- Plumbing fixtures, faucets, and water heater
- Appliances
- Walls, ceilings, and floors
- Doors and windows
- Stairs, steps, and railings
- Porches and balconies
- Walkways and driveways
Our home inspector will create a comprehensive report of their findings of the property and include pictures to better detail the findings. This report will be available to the customer 24 hours after the inspection.
